What Recpt does

Recpt is a record-keeping tool for sole traders. Receipts in, categorised by the AI and confirmed by you. Quotes and invoices out, with payments tracked per job, and a BAS helper each quarter.

The business layer

• Jobs: one per piece of work. Quotes, invoices, payments and expenses hang off it, so you see profit per job.
• Quotes: build, share the PDF, mark accepted. A deposit invoice can raise itself when the customer says yes.
• Invoices: Tax invoice or Invoice depending on your GST setting. Send by email with a pay link.
• Payments: record bank transfers, or take cards through the pay link.
• BAS: GST collected and paid for the quarter, worked out from what you have recorded.

What Recpt is not

Recpt is not a registered tax agent. It never decides what is deductible, never works out a figure for you, and never lodges anything with the ATO. The AI suggests, you confirm, your accountant or the ATO decides.
