What the BAS helper shows
Sole traders who are GST registered get a BAS helper. For each quarter it shows:
- G1 Total sales: gross payments received in the quarter.
- 1A GST on sales: one eleventh of those payments.
- 1B GST on purchases: the GST included in your business expenses for the quarter.
The figures come straight from your Payments and Expenses. Nothing is typed in.
Copy the numbers into myGov yourself. Recpt never lodges anything and is not a registered agent. Check the figures with your accountant or BAS agent first.
