Every photo you upload is stored on servers in Australia, attached to its expense. Open the expense to see it full size.

Retention

Photos are kept for 365 days from upload, then removed automatically. The expense itself, with vendor, amount, date and category, stays. Export your summary and the photos before the year is up if your accountant wants the images.

Deleting your account removes every photo immediately.

Locking photos with a passkey

Turn on passkey encryption in Settings and every new photo is stored encrypted at rest. Only your device, unlocked with Face ID or Touch ID, or your recovery code can open them. See Security and privacy for what that protects and what it does not.
